Program Risk Manager

The Program Risk Manager will be responsible for management and leadership of all fiscal, staffing, and delivery components of assigned contract(s).  They will serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and be accountable for resource allocation, quality and timeliness of delivery, cost containment and profitability, customer satisfaction, and overall contract performance.

They will be an experienced leader in Aerospace systems and will collaborate with senior professionals to architect and implement an enterprise risk management program. This position will work directly with the customer to identify issues and successfully implement solutions and will provide overall program management and risk management support.  They will also provide technical engineering leadership for assigned projects, which may include data collection, organizational assessments and meeting facilitation. The PM will interface regularly with both internal and external customers at the highest level and be effective in gaining leadership support of both strategic and tactical plans related to program management. Daily activities will require presence on customer site with a concentration on communicating Futron’s ability to provide innovative solutions to customer’s needs. 

Requirements:

Minimum of 15 + years in government or commercial satellite system design, development and/or operations required.

Minimum of 10 years experience and in-depth knowledge of satellite systems required

Minimum of 10 years experience in risk management consulting

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences or related field

Experience in architecting an enterprise risk management program

In depth knowledge and understand of risks management of satellite and space systems

Knowledge of systems engineering and integration, ground systems and operations convergence

Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills required.

Ability to interact with and support senior level customer staff and to influence key decision makers and obtain buy-in for successful program implementation. 

Ability to work multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines is required.

Demonstrated experience in resource allocation and contract management, team and staff  leadership and budget monitoring required.

Certified PMP preferred.

Interest in Business Development preferred.

Master's degree preferred.

Exceptional writing skills preferred.


Program Manager - ATC

Description:

The Program Manager will be responsible for management and leadership of fiscal, staffing, and delivery components of assigned contract(s).  They will serve as a point of contact for the customer and subcontractors and be accountable for resource allocation, quality and timeliness of delivery, cost containment and profitability, customer satisfaction, of assigned contract area.

This position will work directly with the customer and subcontractors to develop and successfully implement Air Traffic Control operations and program management support. They will also provide technical leadership for assigned projects, which may include data collection and analysis, organizational assessments and meeting facilitation. The Program Manager will interface regularly with both internal and external customers and subcontractors at the highest level and be effective in gaining leadership support of both strategic and tactical plans related to program management. Activities may require on-site visits at customer site in metro DC area.

Requirements:

Required:

Minimum of 10 +  years ATC management and operations experience required.  In depth knowledge Aviation Safety management and reporting systems is also required.

Ability to interact with and support senior level customer staff and to influence key decision makers and obtain buy-in for successful program implementation. 

Demonstrated experience in resource allocation and contract management, team and staff leadership and budget monitoring required.

Previous experience in management of government contracts

Task Leader - Risk Analysis Process

Description:

 Position is responsible for supporting the implementation of risk analysis process in multiple locations. Responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting technical risk analysis data. Position is responsible for identifying trends and providing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

 Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Aviation/Aeronautical Science or related degree and 6 years domain experience required; at least 2 years in lead role required
Ability to perform technical data analysis and present findings to customers
knowledge of several air rated programs and processes such as CRM and TCAS/RA implementation
Familiarity with FAA documentations such as 7110.65 & AIM
Ability to research and understand FAA facilities LOAs and SOPs.
Fundamental knowledge of risk assessment techniques
Ability to build complex risk models, and an ability to analyze technical and management risk and identify trends and provide mitigation strategies is required.

Understanding of risk assessment in commercial aviation setting preferred.


Administrative Specialist

Location: Washington, DC

Position will provide support on administrative functions including but not limited to;
Office and clerical duties i.e., telephone answering, prepare and disseminate correspondence, and data entry
Prepare training and presentation materials including charts, graphs, tables
Assist with and support scheduling of conferences and meetings

Experience with CRU-X, CASTLE, & LDR time and attendance systems
Experience with GovTrip software system
