Bethesda, MD, February 1, 2006-Futron Corporation, an aerospace and technology management consulting firm, announced today that NASA's Engineering and Safety Center (NESC) has awarded them with a follow on contract, valued at approximately $1.2 million. The contract continues analysis, tools and assessment support for ongoing agency safety activities.

"We are pleased to continue this important work with NESC," said Joseph Fuller, Jr., Futron Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer. "The work builds on Futron's relationship with NASA."

Under this contract, Futron will provide the NESC Deputy Director of Safety (DDS) expertise in aerospace safety, risk analysis, reliability analysis and aerospace safety. The NESC performs studies and independent assessments in support of NASA programs and projects, and in response to requests from NASA centers. This new contract provides a seamless continuation of the work Futron has been performing over the past two years.
