Futron leading session at the Disaster Recovery Satellite Summit, NY, NY, November 28, 2006
Futron moderated a session entitled: Disaster Recovery: Defining - and Redefining - the "Critical Mission". The Global VSAT Forum (GVF) and JD Events, the organizers of SATCON 2006, were co-sponsoring the Summit which was held the day immediately preceding the Satellite Application Technology Conference Expo (www.SatconExpo.com). This Summit would strengthen dialogue and enable high-level networking between public and private-sector organizations concerned with communications solutions for disaster preparedness, mitigation & recovery, business continuity and humanitarian & aid requirements.
